What I got for Christmas

Well since Christmas was only a couple of days ago (cue the crying, and sad face!), it seems only natural to share some love for the things I got this year!
I hope no one feels I am bragging in any way, I personally just love reading posts like these, and seeing what other people got, so I thought it may be quite fun to share! I am extremely grateful for everything I have received, as I always am!

Right, so here we go!

Playsuit Love | Fashion

Playsuits are probably something that I wear religiously, they're just so comfortable and easy to wear! Recently, playsuits have been becoming more and more interesting, with different styles, and especially with different prints. Today, I'm bringing out my much loved floral playsuit from Miss Selfridge.

There are two things that make this playsuit one of my absolute favourites. One is the delicate lace trim, which I feel adds some elegance to the outfit. And the second, is the lovely open back detail which gives the playsuit a cheeky, playful feel!

And of course, the floral print is just gorgeous with the mix of bold colours that seem to compliment each other so well and adds a seasonal touch.

In other news, I am SO excited for bonfire night tonight! James and I are going to this fireworks festival event that's taking place on our university campus, and this will be the first time that I've seen fireworks up close on bonfire night! Is it sad that I'm more excited about stuffing my face with toffee apples and hog roasts, rather than the actual fireworks..?
What are your plans for bonfire night tonight?

Wearing - but not feeling - blue | Fashion

Blue coat from New Look

Last week was such a hectic week for me, filled with work, coursework deadlines, and just trying to fall back into my old routine of university life. However, in the midst of all of that craziness, I somehow managed to come across this beautiful, lightweight coat from New Look.

New Look had a 20% sale when I bought this, on everything. So how could I not take advantage! It's my go to coat for early Autumn now, as it's so light and the perfect amount of thickness. I've never really owned anything this colour before either, I'm usually a very "black, navy blue, and grey" type of gal'. Having said that, the colour of this is probably my favourite feature!

Coat - New Look (£19.99 - around £17 after discount!)
Dress - Topshop (£25)
Bag - Aldo (£45)

What's your favourite coat to wear this season?

Suns out..knee high socks out? | Fashion

Yes, we are once again in that awkward transition between Summer and Autumn. You know those days when it's too cold to go without a jumper, but too sunny for tights? Well I thought I'd mix it up with my outfit by adding a touch of Autumn on to an outfit I'd usually wear in the Spring/Summer.

Light wooly jumpers are the perfect addition to any outfit on a day when it's just not cold enough to wear a coat. Because I wear a lot of high waisted skirts, and shorts, I love pairing them with this cropped jumper I have on so I can really show off the full design of my skirt (it's hard to do so when you have a big, baggy oversized sweater on!).

And of course, what Autumn outfit is complete without a pair of wooly knee highs to finish off? Knee high socks add a lovely, girly touch besides from keeping your lower legs all nice and toasty (sorry thighs).
